Whisperer User Guide
IMPORTANT: before using the Whisperer with your existing Musical Mushrooms, you must first update the firmware of ALL your existing Musical Mushrooms to version 0.1.7 or higher to add the new ability to communicate to the Whisperer. Also update the Whisperer's firmware to 1.0.1 or higher. It will NOT work otherwise. Firmware update videos are found on this page for each product.

MIDI Protocol Support Documentation
The Musical Mushroom and Whisperer products all support the Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) protocol over USB. This software protocol enables a computer or another MIDI device to control the Musical Mushroom's state ON/OFF as well as modulating its volume using standard MIDI messages (NOTE ON/OFF and CC).
