We’re excited to share that Musical Mushroom has been featured in the September 2026 edition of MAGNAV International Magazine.

This is a special milestone for us—not only because it introduces Musical Mushroom to a wider audience, but because the feature takes readers deeper into the story behind the invention: how the idea came about, what inspired us to create it, and the journey from a simple idea to a completely new way of playing crystal singing bowls.

The birth of the Musical Mushroom

The full online feature, “The Birth of the Musical Mushroom,” explores the origins of the product and the thinking behind its development. Musical Mushroom was created to offer a different way to activate crystal singing bowls. Rather than relying on the traditional rubbing motion of a mallet around the rim, the Mushroom uses a small exciter mounted inside the bowl to generate mechanical vibrations.

But the story is about more than the device itself. It is about curiosity, experimentation, and the process of turning an idea into something that people

can actually use. From the earliest concept to the development of a working product, the journey has involved exploring how singing bowls respond to vibration, refining the design, and finding ways to make the experience more accessible to sound healers, musicians, and meditation practitioners.

One of the most rewarding parts of developing Musical Mushroom has been discovering the possibilities that come from approaching a familiar instrument differently.
